SHELTER SATURDAY - Vermilion Parish Police Jurors have allowed AAVA to spend a few hours each Saturday at the Vermilion Parish Rabies Animal Control (VPRAC) facility to interact with the dogs and cats currently in the shelter. AAVA volunteers take pictures, bathe, socialize, and temperament test. We could always use a few more hands to help out. 11303 Pioneer Rd. Kaplan, LA ~~ Every Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
**Must be comfortable with big dogs!**
Must be 18 years old to volunteer at the shelter. Sign the waivers (pdf below) and return via email, animalaidvermilion@gmail.com, along with a legible copy of your driver's license/identification card.
